Works at home: all about new support! Anyone who wants to do works at home to improve energy efficiency will be able to apply for a new government incentive program to promote more sustainable properties. The support is intended for all natural persons who own fractions or residential buildings, built until the end of 2006. 07 Sep 2020 min de leitura The Program to Support More Sustainable Buildings was launched by the Government this Tuesday, September 2, 2020, and will allocate 4.5 million euros in 2020 and 2021. Operationalized by the Environmental Fund, it will support measures and interventions that promote rehabilitation, decarbonization, energy efficiency, water efficiency and circular economy in buildings. These measures range from the placement of more efficient windows, thermal insulation, heating and / or cooling systems, photovoltaic panels, water efficiency, among others ... The contribution rate for interventions is 70%, up to the limit value established by project typology. Each candidate is limited to a maximum total incentive of 15,000 euros, with the maximum limit per single-family building or autonomous fraction of 7,500 euros. Conditions - Individuals who own housing; - Single-family and multi-family buildings, building fractions prior to 2006; - Continental territory. Eligible expenses - The costs of acquiring new solutions included in the project types up to the maximum amounts established; - Expenses billed and paid in full and subject to delivery or installation and which meet the following criteria: - date after September 7, 2020; - used for the sole purpose of achieving the - objective (s) of this Incentive; - comply with tax and contributory legislation Ineligible expenditure - Acquisition of land, buildings and other properties; - Construction or adaptation works of buildings regardless of whether they are necessary to implement the energy efficiency measure (s); - Costs with the maintenance and operation of the energy efficiency measure (s) to be implemented; - Acquisition of monitoring systems, material and software; -Acquisition or replacement of existing appliances; -Projects, certifications, audits, studies and preparatory activities, licensing; -Direction or supervision of work, safety coordination, environmental monitoring, technical assistance and project management; -Expenses with the temporary resettlement of residents in the building or fraction involved; - Expenses associated with other interventions in the building or fraction that are not related to the eligible interventions; -The recoverable Value Added Tax (VAT); - Costs covered by other sources of financing; -Fines, penalties and litigation costs; -Excessive or inappropriate expenses for previously established purposes. Building - Energy certificate, when applicable; - Building book; - Housing license; - Receipt; - Photographic intervention evidence (before and after).
