Euribor renews minimum Euribor rates returned today to lower new lows of always to three, to six and to 12 months, for the third consecutive session. 03 Jul 2019 min de leitura The six-month Euribor rate, the most used in Portugal in housing loans, fell today to -0.335%, new low of always and minus 0.008 points than last Tuesday. The current maximum value since July 2018 of the six-month Euribor of 0.227% was recorded on 27 March. Three-month Euribor retreated today to -0.353%, a new low of always and minus 0.002 points than on Tuesday. The current maximum since July 2018 of three-month Euribor of -0.306% was first recorded on 24 January. Within 12 months, the Euribor rate fell to a new all-time low of -0.243%, down 0.010 points from Tuesday. The 12-month Euribor has risen to its current high since July 2018, at -0.108%, for the first time on 6 February. The three-, six- and twelve-month Euribor rates went into negative territory in 2015, on April 21, November 6 and February 5, respectively. Euribor is set by the average rate at which a group of 57 eurozone banks are willing to lend money to each other in the interbank market.
